As a graduate instructor at Northern Arizona University's English Department, I was interested in developing an inquiry into wolf reintroduction programs in Yellowstone and eastern Arizona. My English Composition class came up with a web-based inquiry into the gray wolf. The class looked at historical representations of wolves in both Eurpoean and American Indian literature, investigated the status of current recovery programs, rated web sites for other student researchers, and reviewed movies with wolf-related themes. The resulting site has turned out to be a rather pro-wolf statement, but the class felt strongly about wanting to share this point of view. I hope you enjoy the student web page. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
